Welcome to our cabin and hope your have a wonderful stay, we enjoy our time there as well!. The cabin sits on an acre of ground just off the Kenai River adjacent to a section line public boat launch. It has its own well for water source, natural gas for heating, electricity, and a septic tank. The following are some guidelines to help you during your visit.

   1. Monitor heat source is located in living room. Do not place any objects close to heat source. Please use heat sparingly as required , turn on and use arrows (up/down) to set heat. Please do not set above 70 degrees. Turn off during daytime. Note: As hot air rises loft will be warmer than master bedroom.

   2. Washer and dryer please note that well water will stain whites, please use at your own discretion. Washer and dryer are small stackables, please do not overload, wash small loads. Dryer is not vented to outside so do not use high heat; permanent press setting will dry your clothes just fine.

   3. Bathroom cabin is on a septic system, use toilet paper sparingly please to avoid any clogging. Plunger, vacuum, broom, etc. are located in bathroom storage closet.

   4. Loft Place ladder so it firmly supports your weight to prevent accidents. Children should be supervised by an adult, while they are in the loft. Loft door should be opened/closed by adults only~ at your own risk. When open, keep door chained to avoid it falling closed. Door is heavy, use care to avoid injury and damage.

   5. Personal belongings amy and I frequent the cabin and have personal items in the cabin. If you need to use anything just treat it as if it were your own with care and replace when finished.

   6. Oven and stove natural gas heating, typically cooks quicker than electric types. Caution: Verify oven and all burner knobs are in the off position prior to leaving or retiring for the evening, failure to do so can result in catastrophic consequences.

   7. Color television will play dvd’s only. There is a video rental shop up on the sterling highway towards Soldotna and a blockbuster in Soldotna. There is not an antenna or cable/satellite hook-ups for TV reception at this time.
